Every meeting includes a slot near the start of the meeting for public participation.\u00a0 This gives people the chance to contribute to an agenda item or raise an item that they would like included on a future agenda.\u00a0 Public participation is allocated 15 minutes per meeting and each individual member of the public is allowed to speak for 3 minutes.\u00a0 Please <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ndowse.co.uk\/devsite\/spwpc\/contact\/\">contact the Clerk<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> if you would like to speak or have an item for the agenda.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>What do we do<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Parish Council duties include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Management of the recreation ground, pavilion and facilities and specific land within the Parish<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Review and comment on planning applications within the Parish<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Liaise with relevant authorities regarding infrastructure \/policing\/community issues to represent your views and get the best advantage for the local area<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Engage with all interested parties regarding current and future shape of life in the local area<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Administer applications to, and the distribution of grants from, the <a href=\"http:\/\/ndowse.co.uk\/devsite\/spwpc\/henry-smith-charity\/\">Henry Smith Charity<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Parish Council and Meetings &nbsp; Who we are &#8211; St Paul\u2019s Walden Parish Council has 7 Councillors.
